The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it really is alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and website there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The support issue SRD developed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency read more said.
